This is a special AR app for RZD calendar, issued for the 45th anniversary of the start of the Baikal-Amur Mainline (BAM) construction.
Having connected Eastern Siberia and the Far East, BAM provided the country with the second access to the Pacific Ocean and allowed to exploit the biggest deposits in Eastern Siberia. In addition, it boosted the growth of the northern regions of our country. Nowadays Baikal-Amur Mainline remains one of the most important railways in Russia!
This application will allow you to get acquainted with the history of BAM construction. You will see the archive photos and videos of the biggest Soviet Construction Project.
Download the application, open it and focus your phone/tablet camera on one of the calendar’s images. It will allow you to put the life into the virtual elements on the calendar’s pages. Enjoy the viewing!
